Beyonce Giselle Knowles was born on September 4th, 1981, in Houston, Texas. Beyonce is an American R&B singer, songwriter, record producer, actress and model. Beyonce was in singing and dancing competitions from a young age and went to performing arts schools as a child. She rose to fame in the late 1990′s as the lead singer in the all girl R&B group Destiny’s Child. Sales for the group and Beyonce have passed 100 million. 2003 saw Beyonces first solo album Dangerously in Love. From this first solo album came the hit songs Crazy in Love and Baby Boy. Dangerously in Love became one of the most successful albums of the year. Beyonce earned five Grammy Awards. In 2006 Beyonce again released a solo album, B’Day which debuted at the number one position on the Billboard Charts. Her next solo album titled I Am
